Motion State, a Seattle-based production company, will be filming a TV commercial for Firestone Tires on campus June 2. Filming will take place primarily on NE Stadium Way between Wilson Road and Ferdinand’s Lane from about 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in conjunction with WSU campus police. Traffic will be rerouted around Wilson Road and Ferdinand’s Lane and provisions to keep bus routes through will take place. The sidewalks will remain open to the public, and production assistants will be positioned throughout NE Stadium Way to make sure pedestrians are aware of what is happening.
A small splinter unit will then head in front of Wilson-Short Hall and will film sequences for a couple of hours. Students and faculty will be able to work and walk around this set.
