The Department of Entomology invites you to the E. Paul Catts Memorial Lecture to be held on Thursday, April 9, at 6 p.m. in CUE 203. This year’s E. Paul Catts Memorial Lecturer is Dr. Claire Kremen, professor & faculty member at the University of California Berkeley. Dr. Kremen is also the Co-Director of the Berkeley Food Institute and the Director of the Center for Diversified Farming Systems. Her presentation is titled A Bee’s Eye Perspective on Sustainable Agriculture. Dr. Kremen will also be giving a special lecture in the Entomology Department at noon on Friday, April 10, in FSHN 354 titled: Diversifying Landscapes in California’s Central Valley to Restore Pollinator Populations and Services. The E. Paul Catts Memorial Lecture honors Dr. Paul Catts who was revered as an excellent teacher, public speaker and artist. The lectureship was endowed in 2001; major contributors included Ann B.
