Only Days Left to Address Required Open Enrollment Changes

Only seven more work days for PEBB-Eligible employees to make required life insurance changes, and address other Open Enrollment changes!  Remember, however, you have 24/7 access to online portals to make changes.

Required changes this November:

  • All employees must designate their life insurance beneficiaries.
  • Enrollment in life Insurance coverage on family members must be pursued, since most of that coverage will not transfer to the new insurance carrier.
  • Additional life coverage on employees and family members is available without having to answer a medical questionnaire, even if you were previously denied coverage.

This is also the one time a year you can change your medical/dental coverage, enroll or waive coverage, and enroll/re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and/or Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP).

Visit the HRS Open Enrollment website for additional information, access the online enrollment portals, and to view other Open Enrollment communications.

Questions can be directed to HRS Benefit Services at 509.335.4521 or email hrs@wsu.edu.
