Calling for Women of Distinction nominations

The President’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is accepting nominations for the Women of Distinction Awards. Please help us recognize the achievements and contributions of our distinguished faculty, staff, alumna, and students across the WSU system and our society. Deadline to submit nominations is Monday, March 13, at 5 p.m.

Women of Distinction awardees are people who identify as women and their allies and usually include an alumna, a faculty member, a staff member, an undergraduate and graduate student. Individuals not affiliated with WSU but who work with WSU in community engagement, development, student engagement, or other areas can also be nominated. All nominees for Women of Distinction awards are eligible for the Woman of the Year award, and nominations from all WSU campuses and locations, as well as self-nominations, are encouraged. For more information and to submit your nominations, please visit: president.wsu.edu/women-of-distinction.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
