Call for Nomintations for Women* of Distinction/ Woman* of the Year Awards

The President’s Commission on the Status of Women is accepting nominations for the Women* of Distinction Awards! Please help us recognize the achievements and contributions of Women of Distinction and their allies at, or collaborating with, WSU. Women* of Distinction awardees are people who identify as women and their allies. A Distinction Award is available for one of the nominees in each category of:

  • Alumnae
  • Tenure and career track faculty
  • Staff
  • Undergraduate, graduate, and professional students
  • Women in the community who have demonstrated a commitment to collaborating/partnering with the WSU community

All nominees are also eligible for the Woman* of the Year award. Nominations and self-nominations are encouraged from all WSU campuses, locations, WSU Extension, and our community partners.

Please submit nominations to the Women of Distinction Committee by Friday, Dec. 1, at 5 p.m.
