Benefits Open Enrollment is Addressed in Workday

Reminder!

You may see or have received communications from the Washington Health Care Authority (HCA) or your insurance plans or vendors regarding open enrollment and 2027 benefits. Many of those communications direct employees to enrollment resources outside of Workday such as the HCA’s 24.7 system of Navia website. These enrollment instructions to not apply to WSU but is applicable to other Washington State general government employers, and some other higher education institutions.

WSU employees enroll and make benefit changes exclusively in Workday. The only exception is the special enrollment offer being extended by MetLife for life insurance, when you will work directly with MetLife on that option.

An open enrollment event opened in Workday for all WSU benefit eligible employees on Monday, October 26, and will be ending at 11:59 p.m. on November 23. Changes will be effective, January 1 – December 31, 2027.

You will find the open enrollment event in your Workday tasks, represented as an inbox icon in the upper right corner of your benefits screen. Home – Workday
