2025 Pollart Center Fellowship applications now open

The David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities is now accepting fellowship applications for the academic year 2025–26.

David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities fellowships support larger-scale research, exhibitions, or other major scholarship/creativity efforts that advance the applicant’s professional development. Unlike projects supported by our mini-grants, fellowships are designated for longer-term (one year or more) projects. Projects should also advance university-wide arts and humanities goals or initiatives.

Eligibility criteria: Fellowship eligibility is determined by the arts and humanities content or focus of the proposed project. All tenured, tenure-track, career-track, and full-time instructional faculty at all WSU campuses are eligible for a Pollart Center Fellowship. Funding is contingent upon WSU employment or affiliation for the year subsequent to the grant. Fellowship recipients from 2024 are requested to refrain from applying for further Pollart Center funding until 2026. All previous Fellowship recipients are eligible but must have submitted a final project report to be considered for another award. Faculty without additional internal or external funding will receive priority consideration.

The full request for proposals can be found on the Opportunities for Faculty page of the David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities website. Applications can be submitted online by March 7.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
