Microsoft to retire legacy version of Outlook for Mac, Oct. 31

Microsoft is retiring the legacy Outlook for Mac interface on Friday, Oct. 31, concluding access for WSU users accessing this version of the application.

Following this change, the option to view or return to the legacy Outlook for Mac interface will no longer be available. Microsoft will automatically transition users to the new Outlook for Mac interface.

No action is required for users already accessing the new Outlook for Mac interface.

Information Technology Services (ITS) encourages affected users to begin using the new Outlook for Mac interface ahead of Oct. 31. Early use provides an opportunity to become familiar with the updated layout and features, helping ensure a smooth experience.

For assistance transitioning to the new Outlook for Mac interface, please visit the ITS website or contact Crimson Service Desk at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu.
