Shipping lithium batteries

FedEx Express and UPS have changed their policy on standalone shipments of lithium batteries (i.e., not packed in or with equipment). That means shippers will have to change the way they prepare these shipments if they want to continue using FedEx Express and UPS.

We have recently had to deal with multiple mislabeled or inadequate labeled lithium battery packages.  Please remember that if you ship lithium batteries you must be trained as a Dangerous Good/Hazardous material shipper.
