Issue with duplicate emails sent from JIRA

Thursday afternoon, many WSU users received duplicate emails sent every two minutes from our JIRA service provider.  The Enterprise Systems team has been working with the vendor to resolve the issue and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and your staff. Please know that we are aware of the predicament and have been working to correct the email issues.

We kindly ask that if you have received these duplicate and numerous emails, please do not reply to them as that adds to the repeated duplication. Rather, just delete them. We expect that the situation will have been corrected by the time this announcement is published and the root cause identified. This will assist with putting in place actions to prevent the issue from reoccurring in the future.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
