Washington State University Everett and the Everett University Center facilities are closed until Monday for a deep cleaning.

A student at the nearby Everett Community College has tested positive for COVID-19 but at this time no members of the WSU Everett or Everett University Center communities have been diagnosed with the disease, according to WSU Everett Chancellor Paul Pitre.

Classes scheduled for Friday will be delivered using other methods, Pitre wrote. Students are asked to communicate with professors or staff if they need assistance to ensure academic responsibilities are maintained.
