The public is invited to a special opening reception of :
Preserving the Past for the Future: Conservation of Book and Paper Based Materials to be held in the Terrell Library ground floor – Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections – this Friday, Sept. 12, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
This exhibit highlights the tools and techniques used by professional conservators to conserve and preserve rare books and other artifacts in the collections of Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections.
It is curated by Jennifer Jouas, Sierra Kaag, and Lisa Sikkink.
The exhibit will be open between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m Monday through Friday and will end on November 21.
