WSU Tri-Cities student chosen for national leadership institute

By Maegan Murray, WSU Tri-Cities RICHLAND, Wash. – After serving in various leadership roles at Washington State University Tri-Cities, graduating senior Roman Lara is among 32 students nationwide selected for a summer leadership institute in Stoney Brook, New York.

Deadline Nov. 15: Association for Faculty Women requests nominations for annual Samuel H. Smith Leadership Award

PULLMAN, Wash. – Nominations are due Nov. 15 for the Association of Faculty Women’s 2013 Samuel H. Smith Leadership Award. The winner will be recognized at the Dec. 3 AFW meeting and at Washington State University’s Showcase celebration in 2014.
