The commemoration of the Ida Lou Anderson House is taking place from 4:30–6 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, at 755 NE Campus Street in Pullman. The event is free, with all members of the public invited to attend.
In her speech, Elizabeth Chilton recalled agreeing to join WSU without setting foot in Eastern Washington. She and her family were immediately welcomed with support from the university and Pullman communities.
President Kirk Schulz and Provost, Executive Vice President and WSU Pullman Chancellor Elizabeth Chilton will lead a discussion about the university’s plans for the upcoming semester and review existing COVID‑19 guidelines.
WSU President Kirk Schulz provided the university community an update on the administration of the Pullman campus as well as fundraising efforts in his Nov. 30 message.
Chilton will take on more of the operational leadership responsibilities for the campus which will allow President Kirk Schulz more time to meet with donors and legislators to advocate for WSU.
The appointment is part of the OneWSU initiative that maintains some centralized operations for efficiency while more closely aligning individual campuses with local community needs.
