May 6: Grad students present theses in three minutes

Brandon Chapman, College of Education PULLMAN, Wash. – Graduate students will deliver their version of the “elevator speech” in the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the College of Education’s graduate student lounge in Cleveland 70; the Washington State University community is invited to watch.

Hackathon: Intense computer programming creation, competition

PULLMAN, Wash. – Programming-savvy students and their computers took over two floors of the CUE on Saturday for Washington State University’s second annual hackathon. “Last year we had 30 students; this year we had 96,” said Andrew Bates, a computer science senior and organizer of the event.
