Boeing CEO donates $1 million to business’ Global Initiative

PULLMAN – More Washington State University students will benefit from international scholarship opportunities thanks to laureates Scott and Linda Carson. Following last week’s announcement of the new campus partnership between the WSU College of Business and University Centre Cesar Ritz in Brig, Switzerland, enabling students to complete a WSU International Business major or minor degree during one semester in Europe, CB alumnus Scott E. Carson named to presidential search advisory committee

Scott E. Carson, president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, has been named as the 20th member of the Washington State University presidential search advisory committee.Carson’s appointment was announced Thursday, Oct 5, by the Board of Regents Chair Kenneth Alhadeff.“Scott Carson is a most accomplished and supportive alumnus of WSU. He will bring a valuable perspective to the committee,” Alhadeff said. “As a research university, WSU plays a vital role in economic development.
