Todd-color-drawing-80PULLMAN, Wash. – A naming celebration for the Carson College of Business will take place Oct. 24 on the Pullman campus. The celebration is free to the public.

Approved by the Washington State University Board of Regents earlier this year, the naming honors Scott and Linda Carson’s lifetime contributions to the college, the university and society.

Activities will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the first floor of Todd Hall, across from Terrell Library. Shortly before noon, there will be a ribbon cutting and short program honoring the Carsons.

Students, faculty, staff, guests and the public are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch, take student- or self-guided tours of the college and learn about upcoming structural changes.

“Scott and Linda Carson are living examples of the College of Business’ mission to advance knowledge, be globally competitive and create value through engagement,” said David Whidbee, interim dean. “The Carson name will help us strengthen brand recognition and increase the allure of WSU’s top-ranked business programs and world-class faculty. We’re so pleased to honor them and to celebrate this important event.’’
