$10 million grant to study disease in native populations

Buchwald-webSPOKANE, Wash. – A Washington State University researcher has received a $10 million grant to work with American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities to reduce health risks related to high blood pressure.

Student Recreation Center hosts health screening

Take care of yourself and get educated with regular health screenings provided by the College of Pharmacy and University Recreation.
       
The next screening will be at the Student Recreation Center on October 15 from 3:30 to 6:30p.m. The screening will consist of a free blood pressure and glucose test. Participants can choose to have a blood cholesterol test done costing $5 for students and $15 for non-students.
