Two veterans to speak at WSU Tri-Cities

RICHLAND – Two veterans will talk about their experiences in the military at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the West Building Atrium, 2710 University Drive in the WSU Tri-Cities campus.

The event is sponsored by the Associated Students of WSU Tri-Cities. Admission is free and open to the public.

The veterans who will be speaking are:

— Capt. John A. Butterfield, U.S. Navy. He spent more than 30 years as a naval aviator, with service during the Cold War, Vietnam, Cuban Missile Crisis, and during the Iranian Hostage Crisis. He was the commanding officer for Naval Air Stations in Greece and … » More …
