PULLMAN, Wash. – Poets & Quants ranked online MBA and executive MBA programs from Washington State University’s Carson College of Business as No. 16 in their 2020 rankings of The Best Online MBA Programs.

“Our online business programs are consistently praised by students in the Pacific Northwest and worldwide who seek an affordable, high quality, relevant business education,” said Chip Hunter, Carson College dean. “We are especially pleased to be recognized among the top 16 best online MBA programs, given the increasingly competitiveness of this space.”

Data for the third annual Poets & Quants ranking of online MBA programs was gathered from both school and alumni surveys. The school survey asked for a wide variety of data points, from admission standards to global immersion trips. The alumni survey sought recent graduates’ impressions on a range of topics, as well as whether the program fulfilled their expectations and if they would recommend it to others.

“The Carson College of Business MBA programs allow students to have an immersive educational experience that fits with their busy lifestyles. The programs connect them with outstanding peers and enable development in support of their personal and professional aspirations. Students can apply work experience to their coursework and course learning to their careers in real time wherever they find themselves across the globe,” said Cheryl Oliver, Carson College of Business associate dean for professional programs. “Being ranked among other respected, top online MBA programs, signals recognition for our work. I am most proud that we are living our mission to continue providing opportunities through excellent business education. We strive to provide the best student experience with a responsible approach to return on their investment.”

Poets & Quants rankings for online MBA and executive MBA programs were determined by the quality of our students, alumni assessment of our program experience and career outcomes of our program’s alumni.
