Jan. 27: Livestock growers networking; register by Jan. 25

pigsMONROE, Wash. – An informal discussion, Q&A and networking event about livestock production in western Washington will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Longhouse at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, 14405 179th Ave. SE, in Monroe. It is the first in a series of quarterly events called the Livestock Round Pen.

The event is free but registration is requested online at http://RoundPen.BrownPaperTickets.com by Jan. 25.

There will be tables devoted to each species: cattle, goats, sheep, swine and poultry.

The event will be led by Susan Kerr, Washington State University regional livestock and dairy extension specialist, and sponsored by WSU Snohomish County Extension, Snohomish Conservation District and the Evergreen State Fairgrounds.
