Oct. 1: Gershwin, Dvorak open WSU symphony season

PULLMAN, Wash. – George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and Anton Dvorak’s ninth symphony, “From the New World,” will be performed in a free, public concert by the Washington State University Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in Bryan Hall at WSU.

Sept. 18: Free recital features clarinet, piano

PULLMAN, Wash. – A free, public clarinet recital by Central Washington University professor Joseph Brooks will be at 4:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Bryan Hall, Washington State University. He will be accompanied on piano by Yakima Valley Community College instructor Anne Schilperoort.
