Sept. 25: Palouse Trio celebrates 10 years

palouse-trio-350PULLMAN, Wash. – The Palouse Trio will present a 10th anniversary concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in Bryan Hall at Washington State University as part of the Faculty Artist Series to benefit student scholarships.

Tickets, on sale in the lobby 30 minutes before the performance, cost $10 general admission, $5 senior citizens (60+) and non-WSU students, and free for WSU students with ID.

The trio consists of WSU faculty Meredith Arksey, violin, Ruth Boden, cello, and Jeffrey Savage, piano.

They will perform the lush “Trio No. 1” by Shostakovich, followed by a favorite, “The Four Seasons” by Piazzolla. The concert will conclude with guest violist Giselle Hillyer joining the trio on the “Piano Quartet in G minor” by Brahms.
