Oct. 1: Gershwin, Dvorak open WSU symphony season

berthiaume-gerald-2007-80PULLMAN, Wash. – George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and Anton Dvorak’s ninth symphony, “From the New World,” will be performed in a free, public concert by the Washington State University Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in Bryan Hall at WSU.

WSU professor Gerald Berthiaume will be featured as pianist on “Rhapsody in Blue.”
