Potential hazards from the severe winds whipping across the Palouse and elsewhere across the state prompted Washington State University to close most operations at its Pullman campus today. The Spokane campus delayed the start of operations until 10 a.m.
The university initially had announced a two-hour delay on the Pullman campus but after continuing to evaluate weather forecasts and impacts extended that to a full day closure. The CUB will open at 10 a.m., including the food court.
Normal operations are expected to resume Thursday, Dec. 18, but the university advises continuing to monitor the WSU Alert system for any updates.
Human Resource Services has an online FAQ with additional information about the university’s suspended operations policies.
