Board of Regents meet virtually Nov. 12–13

PULLMAN, Wash. – The final scheduled Washington State University Board of Regents meetings of 2020 are taking place virtually on Nov. 12 and 13.

Thursday’s committee meetings will begin at 10:30 a.m. and are expected to last through the afternoon. Friday’s Board of Regents meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Both events will be broadcast live on Youtube.

Among the actions the Board of Regents are expected to take are establishing a Department of Community and Behavioral Health within the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. The board is also expected to approve revised services and activities fess for the current academic year.

It will be the first meeting for Jenette Ramos, who joined the WSU Board of Regents earlier this fall.

Members of the public are invited to make comments during the public comment period of the board’s meeting on Friday. Information on how to sign up for the public comment period can be found on the Board of Regents website.
