Cougar football breaks into Top 10

With another big win Saturday, WSU football climbed to No. 10 in this week’s Associated Press college football rankings.

The 41‑38 comeback victory at Stanford also gave the Cougars (7‑1, 6‑1) sole possession of first place in the Pac‑12 North. It marks the first time since October of last year that WSU has been ranked among the 10 best college football programs in the nation.

The Cougars moved up four spots in this week’s Amway Coaches Poll as well, coming in at No. 11.

WSU takes on Cal this Saturday at Martin Stadium.
