Professor’s prestigious honor celebrated

PULLMAN – Terry McElwain, a College of Veterinary Medicine professor recently elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies, will be honored at a reception 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital lobby.
 
Election to the institute is one of the highest honors in biomedical research and human health care.
 
A program with President Elson S. Floyd and Provost and Executive Vice President Warwick M. Bayly will be at 4 p.m.
