International Year of Astronomy

PULLMAN – International Year of Astronomy 2009 Kick Off Event is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday,  January 31 at the Jewett Observatory.
 
Marking the 400th anniversary of Galileo, the event will focus on the use of telescopes and the observations of different planets.   Event staff asks attendees to bring their telescopes and to dress warm.
