Campbell awarded by women in agricultural sciences

Kim Campbell,  a USDA-ARS wheat breeder and affiliate faculty within the department of Crop & Soil Sciences was selected as a recipient of the American Society of Agronomy/Crop Science Society of America/Soil Science Society of Amercica Committee on Women  in Agronomoy, Crops, Soils, and Environmental Sciences 2008 Mentoring Award in recognition of her excellent service as a mentor, teacher and role model of women in the agricultural sciences.

Campbell was nominated by various people in her lab group.

The award will be presented October 7during the 2008 annual meeting of the ASA/CSSA/SSSA at the joint luncheon of the ASA/CSSA/SSSA Committee and the Geological Society of America’s Committee on Minorities and Women in Geosciences.
