Visiting writer series with Jonathan Johnson

WSU’s Department of English launches the Visiting Writer Series with poet and nonfiction writer Jonathan Johnson, who will read Thursday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Art/WSU.
 
Jonathan Johnson’s second collection of poems, In the Land We Imagined Ourselves, is forthcoming from Carnegie Mellon University Press. He is also the author of the book of poems Mastodon, 80% Complete (Carnegie Mellon University Press)and the memoir Hannah and the Mountain (University of Nebraska Press).
 
His poems have appeared in Best American Poetry and numerous other anthologies, as well as Southern Review, Ploughshares, North American Review, and Prairie Schooner.He is Faculty Director of the Inland Northwest Center for Writers, the MFA program at Eastern Washington University.Books will be for sale after the reading.
