WSU-UW Night at Safeco Field

SEATTLE – Past, present and future Cougars can show off their crimson and gray in Seattle June 29 as part of WSU-UW Night at Safeco Field.

The game begins at 7:05 p.m. when Mariners take on the Toronto Blue Jays.

Tickets are $15, with $5 going to the WSU Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. The price includes an official crimson Mariners T-shirt while supplies last.

Butch T. Cougar and Harry Husky are scheduled to appear and throw out simultaneous first pitches. WSU fans will be seated along first-base line in sections 318-320.

A pre-game rally with food and drink specials for alumni is set for Ivar’s Clam Bake, located at the corner of Edgar Martinez Drive and First Avenue South.

Alumni association representatives will hand out free crimson Mariners baseball caps on the concourse behind the Cougar sections while supplies last.

The first 25,000 fans to the ballpark will also receive a Mariners promotional Kenji Johjima bobblehead.
