Famous quintet to perform at WSU

The WSU Solstice Wind Quintet will present a special summer concert at the WSU Art Museum at 3:00 pm on Saturday afternoon, May 26, 2007. The concert is free of charge and the public is invited to enjoy music and art in an intimate setting.

The Solstice Quintet features flutist Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Anthony Taylor, clarinet; Keri McCarthy, oboe; Jennifer Scriggins Brummett, horn; and Ryan Hare, bassoon–all WSU School of Music faculty members. Solstice has presented hundreds of concerts throughout the Pacific Northwest including performances on prestigious chamber music series.

The program will include works from around the world by German, French, Hungarian and American composers Hindemith, Chrétien, Szervanszky and Fine.

This concert is made possible by the WSU School of Music, WSU Art Museum, ASWSU Student Entertainment Board and WSU Campus Involvement.
