Solstice Quintet presents annual concert at WSU

PULLMAN — A concert featuring the Solstice Wind Quintet will be presented at WSU as part of the School of Music’s Faculty Artist Series. The concert will take place at 8 p.m. March 21 in the Kimbrough Concert Hall.

The Solstice Quintet, in residence at WSU, features flutist Ann Marie Yasinitsky; Shannon Scott, clarinet; Keri McCarthy, oboe; Jennifer Scriggins Brummett, horn; and Ryan Hare, bassoon.

The WSU Solstice Wind Quintet will present a special summer concert at the WSU Art Museum at 3:00 pm on Saturday afternoon, May 26, 2007. The concert is free of charge and the public is invited to enjoy music and art in an intimate setting.The Solstice Quintet features flutist Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Anthony Taylor, clarinet; Keri McCarthy, oboe; Jennifer Scriggins Brummett, horn; and Ryan Hare, bassoon–all WSU School of Music faculty members. Annual Solstice Wind Quintet Concert May 16

This year’s annual summer concert by the Solstice Wind Quintet will take place in the WSU Museum of Art on May 16, at 2 p.m. As in previous years, this concert will be designed to please audience members of all ages, and will be presented in a casual atmosphere where patrons also may enjoy the last day of the “Master’s of Fine Art Thesis Exhibition.” Members of the Solstice Quintet are Ann Yasinitsky, flute; Amari Barash, oboe; James Schoepflin, clarinet; Roger Logan, horn; and Ryan Hare, bassoon.
