2006 student engagement results show improvement

Results from the spring 2006 National Survey of Student Engagement recently arrived and are being analyzed and compared with the 2004 results, said Fran Hermanson, director of Student Affairs Research and Assessment.

WSU made significant gains in three freshman categories, including interaction with faculty, active and collaborative learning, and academic challenge.
The survey is given to randomly selected freshmen and seniors. See details on the freshman data this week.
