Open enrollment ends Nov. 30

You can make changes to your benefits coverage for 2005 during the open enrollment period that ends Nov. 30. Here are some issues you may want to consider and research as you make your decisions:

• Did you know you are able to use the computer to see what benefits you are enrolled in today? Your information can be obtained at Web PBS, maintained by Payroll and Benefits Services, via secured login with your network ID and password. Go to http://www.wsu.edu/webpbs/index.html.

• Consider your 2004 benefits before making decisions for 2005. Do you need to adjust your life insurance or long-term disability coverage? Are you happy with the medical and dental plans you now have?

• Consider the new 2005 pricing for the employee share of the premium. (Note: The university now pays $584.58 per month for your benefits.)

• Should you shelter from taxes your out-of-pocket costs with a Flexible Spending Account?
