Employment outlook improves. New college graduates and students who plan to complete their studies this academic year can look forward to an improved employment outlook. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, employers expect to hire 13.1 percent more new college graduates in 2004-05 than they hired in 2003-04. The increased employer demand could help build on the gains enjoyed by members of the Class of 2004, many of whom saw healthy increases in starting salaries over the previous year.
