State of the University Address set for Sept. 15

Goals and opportunities for WSU will be highlighted by President V. Lane Rawlins at his annual State of the University Address, to be held at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, in Bryan Hall Theatre. In particular, he will discuss the budget challenges and opportunities WSU faces this year during a critical biennial legislative session. In what has become a yearly tradition, the president also will count down WSU’s top 10 accomplishments of 2003-2004.

The address will be available by videostreaming the following day, Sept. 16, via a link from the Face to Face with WSU Leaders webpage at http://www.wsu.edu/dialogues-forums.

A reception will follow the address on the Bryan Hall lawn, weather permitting. An organ prelude by Jill Schneider, instructor of music in the School of Music and Theatre Arts, will begin at 3:45 p.m.
