Knudson Joins WSU College of Liberal Arts as Director of Development and Alumni Relations

PULLMAN, Wash. — Joshua Knudson will become director of development and donor relations for the Washington State University College of Liberal Arts, effective June 1.

Knudson, director of development for Oregon State University’s College of Liberal Arts, has been responsible for several accomplishments at OSU, including the endowment of several departments and programs and managing a number of major first-gift successes.

“Joshua Knudson brings a wealth of development and marketing experience to his new post in WSU’s College of Liberal Arts,” said Barbara Couture, dean of the College of Liberal Arts. “His enthusiasm and creativity will be very helpful as we look to increase donor and volunteer activities within the college.”

Before working for OSU, Knudson served in a number of development positions at Arizona State University, including assistant development officer for the ASU Foundation and director of Annual Programs in the College of Business. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in theatre, both from ASU.

The WSU Foundation this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. Since its founding in 1979, it has raised more than $685 million in support of educational excellence at WSU.
