“America at War,” April 3 Forum at WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University will present an April 3 forum, “The Ethics of Declaring and Conducting War,” at noon in the Compton Union Building’s Clevenger Lounge.

The public discussion is part of a weekly series discussing current world affairs involving the foreign policy of the United States and the conflict in Iraq. Topics include ‘Just War’ Theory and why some religious leaders have concluded that the United States is not fighting a just war.

Gregory Hooks, WSU faculty member in sociology, will moderate the discussion. Other featured faculty speakers include Gail Stearns, the Common Ministry at WSU, and Harry Silverstein, philosophy.
