Dell recalls laptop batteries

WSU has been notified that Dell is recalling certain batteries that were sold with its Inspiron 5000 and 5000(e) notebook computers.

To determine whether your battery is part of this recall and subject to the class action, please go to the following Web site: http://support.dell.com/i5000battery

If you do not have access to the internet, you may call 1-877-237-3355 and a technician will help determine if your battery is affected by this recall.

You only have until Oct. 21 to return the affected battery, so go to the Web site as soon as you can to participate.
