The symposium, “Information Systems: The Backbone of Business,” is free and open to the public. It will be held 1–3 p.m. Friday at the CUB Auditorium and livestreamed.
The celebration begins at 3 p.m. at the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center. Nez Perce leaders will speak on the history of Nimiipuu (Nez Perce) territory, current Tribal priorities, and plans for the future.
A flag walk, a painting workshop, and a guided discussion are among the events the WSU Pullman community is invited to attend in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
The university will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking on Friday for Schweitzer Engineering Hall, a state-of-the-art educational building on the Pullman campus.
