Youth Rugby Camp

Interested in giving your kids an opportunity to try out something new and make sure they are active at the same time? Sign your kids up for the Youth Rugby Camp during the upcoming three-day weekend, Feb. 14-16! The WSU Women’s Rugby is hosting the camp to teach kids the basic rules and structure of rugby. All skills are welcome, no experience needed! This camp is designed to introduce rugby or to build upon current skills. Two sessions of the camp will be held. Ages 5-12 will attend session one from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. each day and ages 13-18 will attend session two from 1-4 p.m. Scrimmages will be touch, not tackle. It is requested that participants bring water, non-spiked cleats or tennis shoes, and warm clothes. Registration costs $30 and includes a t-shirt, Gatorade water bottle, rugby “playbooks” and three days of fun. Feb. 6 is the last day to register!
