WSU undergraduate research fellowship applications open through Jan. 21

Washington State University undergraduate students can apply online now through Jan. 21 for seven awards totaling over $50,000 to support mentored undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities in academic year 2022–23.

Applicants must provide information on their research in their application. Their faculty mentor must endorse the student application online by Jan. 28, one week later.

A variety of awards are available this year. Three are presented by the Office of Undergraduate Research in the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Achievement (DAESA), and another is awarded by DAESA’s WSU LSAMP (Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation) program. One more is from the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, another from the Team Mentoring Program (TMP), and a grant is available from the WSU Emeritus Society.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
