WSU students are committed to making Martin Luther King Jr. Day a day on, not a day off, by participating in a variety of service projects in the local community. On January 19, 2015, students can participate in a variety of local one-time service projects, including a special bus trip to Spokane for the annual MLK Day Unity March and a service project with the East Central Community Center.
Other one time service projects available for students include an archiving project at White Spring Ranch, animal socialization with the Humane Society of the Palouse, and crafts at Avalon Care Center. Visit cce.wsu.edu to learn more. The WSU CCE is proud of the many students joining together in service to honor the memory of Dr. King and his fight for social justice on Monday, January 19.
