On Tuesday, May 23, from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform a scheduled maintenance on WSU Pullman’s wireless services, resulting in a brief, 10‑minute outage for the following networks:
- WSU Wireless
- WSU Wireless Aruba
- AthleticsMedia
- Beasley Private Network
This scheduled work will impact all WSU Pullman users connected to an affected wireless network. ITS does not expect any impact to Global Protect VPN and on‑campus wired network connections.
During this maintenance window, ITS will change the IP space WSU Pullman users land in when connected to the WSU Wireless networks. ITS will also change the IP addresses users originate from when accessing external resources. Wireless Role Based Networks are excluded from this change.
Technical staff managing a firewall or server access list should review more information on the network changes and the new IP addresses on its.wsu.edu prior to May 23.
