WSU Pullman – Pedestrian Mall Closures

As winter has gone and snow removal is no longer necessary, WSU Transportation Services will be re-installing the bollards on the Terrell and Library pedestrian malls.

WSU Transportation Services and the Pedestrian Mall Workgroup would also like to remind the University community that all automobile traffic except emergency vehicles is prohibited on Terrell Mall and parts of Library Mall. A map of the affected areas can be seen here.

The goal is to create a safe environment for pedestrians and a high level of vehicle compliance on the pedestrian malls.

Additionally, all pedestrian mall areas are restricted to vehicles displaying the proper mall service authorization.

WSU Transportation Services has been working closely with local police and fire departments to ensure that emergency vehicles continue to have access.

Thank you for joining us in creating a safer campus for everyone.
