WSU premium beef—one whole beef, grass-fed and finished, available

This is a unique offering for WSU premium beef.

Grass-fed and finished, this beef is an Angus/Hereford cross and has not received growth promotants or antibiotics. (BTW, WSU beef cattle never see growth promotants, to ensure the best quality eating experience, and rarely see any antibiotics, which are used judiciously and sparingly.)

Know where your beef comes from and know that it is locally raised carefully with student help. The entire beef production system takes place within 12 miles of campus.

$4.00 per hanging pound for this beef; additional $0.92 per hanging pound for cut and wrap. You can have the butcher cut it up the way you like.

This beef will be dry-aged for three weeks before cutting and wrapping.

Also, we are taking orders for grain finished beef by the whole and half that will be ready for harvest this fall and winter. Many of these will be Wagyu influenced.

Please contact Brent McCann to put your name on the whole or a half, or with any questions.
