Great value for tasty, wholesome beef! What makes it “Premium”? High quality feed and care, slow growth for flavor, and antibiotics and growth hormones are never used (often known as “natural beef”). The beef is also dry-aged and hand cut. Know where your beef comes from–WSU bred, born, raised, finished and cut!
Pricing:
Whole or half = $2.50 per pound of hanging weight
Quarter = $2.60 per pound of hanging weight
A hanging weight is usually around 800 pounds. The WSU Meats Lab turns it into the cuts you want and wraps it ~$0.72 per pound of hanging weight. A whole beef will likely result in 400 to 450 pounds of cut and wrapped meat, depending on how you ask to have it cut.
