WSU meat sales, extended hours through May 5

Unlike ever before, the WSU Meat Lab is offering a variety of beef, pork, and lamb retail products out of the newly developed storefront at 2155 Wilson Rd., just inside the door next to the “Cougar Quality Meats” cleaver sign. Beginning this Friday (April 7) and lasting through May 5, the store will operate under extended hours on Thursdays, 3–5:30 p.m., and Fridays, 3–6 p.m.

Product was prepared by students in meat science classes offered by the Department of Animal Sciences. Sides of beef are also available at $3.75/lb carcass weight (ALL processing fees included). WSU Premium Beef and Student Swine Cooperative Bacon are also available. Contact Dr. Blake Foraker, 509‑335‑4112, blake.foraker@wsu.edu, with specific questions.
